La Luz Mala

Somewhere in the pampean region of South America, la luz mala lurks.

Some say it is a lost soul, given an improper burial and tied to this mortal coil. Others say that it fiercely guards gold, silver and other valuables which it hid in the ground in a previous life.

Whatever the case, you have a shovel in your hands, a prayer in your heart, and a will to uncover the secrets of these barren plains.

La Luz Mala is a short atmospheric game based on Argentinian and Uruguayan folklore. The goal is to unearth as much as you can for as long as you can, and to balance being chased with doing the chasing.

When la luz approaches you, you may need to pray it away. If you do, you will be rewarded, but be careful: it is said that digging where it indicates may have lethal consequences.
